minds who aspire to play for Team India one day, the words of the 'Cricket God'
matured over decades in cricket.
Achievements in 23
years of cricket career are countless. A record holder in the history of
cricket that no one can erase!. Even when he stepped on the pinnacle of
centuries, the same personality remained the same. The feeling that so much has
been achieved, there is much more to be achieved. Even though he is the god of
cricket, he is the same ‘Vamana’ who demands the boon of admiration from the
fans.
Sachin Ramesh
Tendulkar is a household name of the whole country with many names like Sachin,
Tendulkar, Kulla, Little Master and so on. Not only India, but the entire world
will be shocked by the thunderbolt that is raging in the world of cricket. A
lion that has broken through the cave of records of cricketers and has made a
necklace around his neck.
Isn't all this
colorful talk too much for Sachin? This question may arise in some people.
There is no fate without questioning that this is the grand opening in front of
his achievements. Achievement is in all fields. But it's not the path to add to
the record pages of an unbreakable achievement that sweeps it all aside. More
importantly, what resides in the hearts of millions is not written in the
destiny of even one of the millions. It is no longer common for hundreds of
crores of people to become the unanointed ruler of an empire. Not only that,
his 23-year career in cricket has been nothing short of an Everest-climbing
adventure with teammates without the slightest grudge.
This is why Sachin is
close to everyone.
Seniors, peers,
juniors... Sachin is great at mixing with everyone. Sachin, who is accustomed
to having no one younger than him in the dressing room, shared the dressing
room with Kapil, Azhar and Siddu in the first match, and today he is having the
same cheerfulness with the youngsters of his cricketing age.
During the 2nd
edition of IPL held in South Africa, the young players of the state B. Akhil
was walking along the road with players of his age group. Someone who came
running behind them put his hand on his shoulder and spoke. Those who turned
around and saw who it was were in for a surprise. The hand of that motivating
force rested on the shoulders of those who had watched him play since childhood
and aspired to be like him. This is just one example of Sachin's simplicity.
‘Build dreams of
achievement. If you pursue them, success will follow. Keep dreaming...’ Sachin's
words are very motivating for the young minds who are now watching the cricket
world with anxious eyes and who are just a few steps away from team India.
There is no doubt that such a word will inspire so many crores of hearts. Only
Sachin has such power.
Sachin's batting
style does not need to be described. All these statistics are recorded in the
pages of history. However, the perverted minds who want to walk home should be
aware of the truth. Most of these talkers can't even hold a bat. They have no
idea how decades of cricket can take away physical strength. What is the effort
to cross three hundred in one innings? Even if he has practiced cricket for
four or five years on the field without seeing consistent success, he ends up
thinking that this is enough. Only Sachin was able to rock the field with
physical ability for 23 consecutive years.
Sachin crossed the
ocean and landed on the cricket ground while the fire of his father's pyre,
which was his god, was lit. A few years ago, when he was struggling with
batting failure, he was no longer in his hands, and even when he talked about
the 'retired, unhappy' mind, which he had made a success, he asked them to walk
home. Instead, the bat spoke. Then the same unhappy minds rejoiced. Even then
Sachin did not mind. Such scenes have unfolded many times in Sachin's cricket
career.
Should it be
Bangladesh to get Sachin's century? There are also pessimists who wonder if
this achievement was necessary against such a poor team. These minds say that
he will score a century against Bangladesh as well. If this was possible,
shouldn't every batsman who has ever played against Bangladesh score a century?
Why couldn't it? If this century was Sachin's target, it should have been a
long time since these centuries were crossed. This is evidenced by the numbers
of Sachin's outs in the 90s.
Behind a successful
person there are always words of discontented and hollow minds. The path of
perseverance should be hardened by the words of these mockers or scoffers.
Sachin has always handled it. The reason for that are his dreams of
achievement. He never lets it be seen. Let him see those dreams twice as much.
That is the elixir of cricket world.

ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಕನಸುಗಳಿರಲಿ....
ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ...
ಟೀಂ ಇಂಡಿಯಾಗಾಗಿ ಒಂದಲ್ಲ ಒಂದು ದಿನ ನಾನೂ ಆಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹಾತೊರೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕೋಟ್ಯಂತರ ಯುವ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ನಲ್ಲೇ ದಶಕಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಮಾಗಿದ ‘ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ದೇವರ’ಕಿವಿಮಾತಿದು.
23 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳು ಲೆಕ್ಕಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲ.
ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಇತಿಹಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಅಳಿಸಲಾರದಂತಹ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳ ಸರದಾರನೀತ.
ಶತಕಗಳ ಶತಕದ ಶಿಖರವನೇ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿ ನಿಂತ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲೂ ಅದೇ ಧರೆಗಪ್ಪಿಯೇ ನಿಂತ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವ.
ಸಾಧಿಸಿದ್ದು ಇಷ್ಟು, ಸಾಧಿಸಬೇಕಿರುವುದು ಬಹಳಷ್ಟಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಭಾವ. ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ನ ಆರಾಧ್ಯದೈವವಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳಿಂದ ಅಭಿಮಾನದ ವರ ಬೇಡುವ ಅದೇ ವಾಮನ.
ಸಚಿನ್, ತೆಂಡೂಲ್ಕರ್,
ಕುಳ್ಳ,
ಲಿಟ್ಲ್ ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ ಹೀಗೆ ನಾನಾ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡೀ ದೇಶದ ಮನೆಮಾತು ಸಚಿನ್ ರಮೇಶ್ ತೆಂಡೂಲ್ಕರ್.
ಭಾರತ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ,
ಇಡೀ ವಿಶ್ವವೇ ನಿಬ್ಬೆರರಾಗುವಂತೆ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾರಾಜಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಿಡಿಲಮರಿ.
ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಕಲಿಗಳ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳ ಗುಹೆಹೊಕ್ಕು ಎಲ್ಲವನೂ ಭೇದಿಸಿ, ತನ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಸುತ್ತಲಿನ ಹಾರವನಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಸಿಂಹದಮರಿ.
ಸಚಿನ್ಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಣ್ಣನೆಯ ಮಾತು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಯಿತಲ್ಲವೇ?
ಈ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಕೆಲವರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಡಬಹುದು.
ಆತ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ಇದೇನು ಮಹಾಬಿಡಿ ಎಂದು ಮರುಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಹಾಕದೆ ವಿಧಿ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಸಾಧನೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಎಲ್ಲ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲೂ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ.
ಆದರೆ ಯಾರೂ ಮುರಿಯಲಾಗದ ಸಾಧನೆ ಇತಿಹಾದ ದಾಖಲೆ ಪುಟಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸುವ ಹಾದಿ ಸಾಗುವುದಿದೆಯಲ್ಲ ಅದು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಬದಿಗೆ ಸರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕೋಟ್ಯಂತರ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿರಾಜಮಾನವಾಗಿರುವುದು ಕೋಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನ ನಸೀಬಿನಲ್ಲೂ ಬರೆದಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
ಇನ್ನು ನೂರಾರು ಕೋಟಿ ಜನರ ಹೃದಯ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಅನಭಿಷಿಕ್ತ ದೊರೆಯಾಗಿ ಮೆರೆಯುವುದು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯದ ಮಾತಲ್ಲ. ಅದೊಂದೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, 23 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹ ಆಟಗಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಣ್ಣದೊಂದು ಮನಸ್ತಾಪವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಾಗಿ ಬಂದಿರುವುದು ಎವೆರೆಸ್ಟ್ ಏರಿದ ಸಾಹಸಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾದದ್ದೇನೂ ಅಲ್ಲ.
ಸಚಿನ್ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಹತ್ತಿರವಾಗುವುದೇ ಈ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ.

ಸಮಾನ ವಯಸ್ಕರು,
ಕಿರಿಯರು...
ಎಲ್ಲರೊಂದಿಗೂ ಸಚಿನ್ ಬೆರೆತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ಹಿರಿಮೆಯೇ.
ಡ್ರೆಸ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ರೂಂನಲ್ಲಿ ತನಗಿಂತ ಕಿರಿಯರಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ರೂಢಿಯಲ್ಲಿರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಸಚಿನ್, ಅಂದು ಪ್ರಥಮ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಪಿಲ್, ಅಜರ್, ಸಿದ್ದು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಡ್ರೆಸ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ರೂಂ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು,
ಇಂದು ತನ್ನ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಜೀವನ ಅವಧಿಯಷ್ಟು ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಯುವಕರೊಂದಿಗೂ ಅದೇ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸದಿಂದ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಹೃದಯಿ.
ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಆಫ್ರಿಕಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಐಪಿಎಲ್ 2ನೇ ಆವೃತ್ತಿ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ,
ಯುವ ಆಟಗಾರರಾದ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಬಿ. ಅಖಿಲ್ ತನ್ನ ವಯೋಮಾನದ ಆಟಗಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದುಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
ಅವರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಓಡೋಡಿ ಬಂದವನೊಬ್ಬ ಹೆಗಲ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಹಾಕಿ ಮಾತಿಗೆಳೆದ.
ಯಾರೆಂದು ತಿರುಗಿ ನೋಡಿದವರಿಗೆ,
ಅಚ್ಚರಿ ಎದುರಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಚಿಕ್ಕಂದಿನಿಂದ ಆತನ ಆಟ ನೋಡಿ, ಅವನಂತಾಗಲು ಹಂಬಲಿಸಿದವರ ಹೆಗಲ ಮೇಲೆ ಆ ಪ್ರೇರಕ ಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಕೈ ಇತ್ತು. ಇದು ಸಚಿನ್ ಸರಳತೆಗೆ ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ಉದಾಹರಣೆಯಷ್ಟೇ.
‘ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಕನಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ.
ಅವುಗಳ ಬೆನತ್ತಿ ಹೋದರೆ, ಯಶಸ್ಸು ತಾನಾಗಿಯೇ ಒಲಿಯುತ್ತದೆ.
ಕೀಪ್ ಡ್ರೀಮಿಂಗ್...’
ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಜಗತ್ತನು ಇದೀಗ ತಾನೇ ನಿಬ್ಬೆರಗು ಕಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಟೀಂ ಇಂಡಿಯಾಗೆ ಇನೇನು ಕೆಲವೇ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲುಗಳ ಸಮೀಪವಿರುವ ಯುವ ಮನಗಳಿಗೆ ಶತಕಗಳ ಶತಕ ಮೈಲುಗಲ್ಲು ಮೆಟ್ಟಿನಿಂತ ಸಚಿನ್ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರೇರಣಾತ್ಮಕ.
ಇಂತಹ ಒಂದು ಮಾತು ಅದೆಷ್ಟೋ ಕೋಟಿ ಮನಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಚಿಲುಮೆಯಾಗುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂದೇಹವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಇಂತಹ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಇರುವುದು ಕೇವಲ ಸಚಿನ್ಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ.
ಸಚಿನ್ ಬ್ಯಾಟಿಂಗ್ ವೈಖರಿಯ ಬಣ್ಣನೆಯ ಅಗತ್ಯವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಅದಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲ ಅಂಕಿ-ಅಂಶಗಳೇ ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಪುಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿವೆ.
ಆದರೆ,
ಮುಗಿಯಿತಲ್ಲ ನೂರರ ನೂರು, ಇನ್ನು ಮನೆಗೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿ ಎಂಬ ವಿಕೃತ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸತ್ಯಾಂಶದ ಅರಿವಾಗಲೇಬೇಕು.
ಈ ಮಾತಾಡುವ ಬಹುತೇಕರಿಗೆ ಬ್ಯಾಟ್ ಕೂಡ ಹಿಡಿಯಲು ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
ದಶಕಗಳ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಯಾವ ಪರಿ ಕಸಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬ ಸಣ್ಣ ಸುಳಿವೂ ಇವರಿಗಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
ಇನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಇನಿಂಗ್ಸ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರಂಕಿ ನೂರು ದಾಟುವ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮವೇನು ಗೊತ್ತು. ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ವೃತ್ತಿಯನಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೂ ನಾಲ್ಕೈದು ವರ್ಷ ಮೈದಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಸರತ್ತು ಮಾಡಿದವನೂ ಸತತ ಯಶ ಕಾಣದೆ ಇಷ್ಟು ಸಾಕು ಎಂದು ಕೈಮುಗಿಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
23 ವರ್ಷ ಸತತವಾಗ ದೈಹಿಕ ಕ್ಷಮತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮೈದಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಘೀಳಿಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಸಚಿನ್ಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ.
ತನ ಪಾಲಿನ ದೈವವೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ಅಪ್ಪನ ಚಿತೆಯ ಅಗ್ನಿಯ ಕಾವು ಆರದ ಹೊತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಗರ ದಾಟಿ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಮೈದಾನಕ್ಕಿಳಿದ್ದ ಸಚಿನ್. ಕೆಲವೇ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬ್ಯಾಟಿಂಗ್ ವೈಫಲ್ಯದ ಸತತವಾಗಿ ಕಾಡಿದ್ದಾಗ ಇನ್ನು ಅವನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,
ಮನೆಗೆ ನಡಿಯಲಿ ಎಂದು ಶಸ್ತ್ರಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಮೂಲೆಗಿಟ್ಟು ಮಾತೇ ಸಾಧನೆಯನಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ
‘ನಿವೃತ್ತ,
ಅತೃಪ್ತ’ಮನಗಳು ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ಬಂದಂತೆ ಮಾತಾಡಿದಾಗಲೂ ಸಚಿನ್ ತುಟಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲ್ಲ.
ಬದಲಿಗೆ,
ಬ್ಯಾಟ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿತು.
ಆಗ ಅದೇ ಅತೃಪ್ತ ಮನಗಳು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿದವು.
ಆಗಲೂ ಸಚಿನ್ಗೆ ಇದಾವುದೂ ತಲೆಗೇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
ಇಂತಹ ದೃಶ್ಯಗಳು ಸಚಿನ್ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಬಾರಿ ಅನಾವರಣಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.
ಸಚಿನ್ ಶತಕಗಳ ಶತಕ ಬರಲು ಬಾಂಗ್ಲಾದೇಶವೇ ಆಗಬೇಕಿತ್ತಾ?
ಇಂತಹ ಕಳಪೆ ಟೀಮ್ ಎದುರು ಈ ಸಾಧನೆ ಬೇಕಿತ್ತಾ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಶಿಸುವ ಕುಹಕ ಮನಸುಗಳೂ ಇವೆ. ಬಾಂಗ್ಲಾದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೂ ತಾನೂ ಸೆಂಚುರಿ ಬಾರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದೂ ಈ ಮನಗಳು ಬಾಯಿಬಡಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.
ಇದು ಸಾಧ್ಯ ಎಂದಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ,
ಈವರೆಗೆ ಬಾಂಗ್ಲಾದೇಶದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಆಡಿದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಬ್ಯಾಟ್ಸ್ಮನ್ ಕೂಡ ಶತಕ ಬಾರಿಸಬೇಕಿತ್ತಲ್ಲವೇ?
ಅದು ಏಕೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
ಇನು ಶತಕವೇ ಸಚಿನ್ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ,
ಈ ಶತಕಗಳ ಶತಕಗಳನು ದಾಟಿ ಅದೆಷ್ಟೋ ಕಾಲವಾಗಬೇಕಿತ್ತು.
ಇದಕ್ಕೆ 90ರ ಆಸುಪಾಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಚಿನ್ ಔಟ್ ಆಗಿರುವ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಗಳೇ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ.
ಯಶಸ್ಸಿನ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ಹಿಂದೆ ಅತೃಪ್ತ, ಕುಹಕ ಮನಗಳ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಎಂದೂ ಸುಳಿದಾಡುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತವೆ.
ಈ ತೆಗಳಿಕೆ ಅಥವಾ ಹೀಯಾಳಿಸುವವರ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮದ ಹಾದಿ ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಬೇಕು.
ಅದನು ಸದಾ ನಿಭಾಯಿಸಿರುವುದು ಸಚಿನ್. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣ, ಆತನ ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಕನಸುಗಳು.
ಅದನು ಕಾಣುವುದನ್ನು ಆತ ಎಂದೂ ಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
ಆ ಕನಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೊಂದಷ್ಟು ದುಪ್ಪಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಆತ ಕಾಣುವಂತಾಗಲಿ.
ಅದು ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಪಾಲಿನ ಅಮೃತ.
ಸಚಿನ್ ಗೆ ಇದೀಗ 50...!
