Illegal in Banaswadi: No action even after the Revenue Minister's notice
Reminder to Tahsildar to cancel the account

Bengaluru: The Additional Deputy Commissioner of the Urban District has once again sent a reminder to the Tahsildar of the East Taluk, who has not cancelled the illegal account even after a year despite the Revenue Minister's notice.
'The steps taken to cancel the account and registration of the government land illegally made under the pressure of BJP leader M. Lakshminarayan should be informed immediately,' the Additional Deputy Commissioner of the Urban District has instructed the Tahsildar of the East Taluk on January 7, 2025.

'Survey No. of Banaswadi village. M. Muniraju had filed a complaint with the Revenue Minister that the Krishnarajapura Sub-Registrar, East Tahsildar, had registered and maintained the government land of 261 under the pressure of Lakshminarayan, defying the instructions of the Sub-Divisional Officer of the North Sub-Division. Referring to that, the Principal Secretary of the Revenue Department wrote a letter on December 11, 2023, he mentioned in the memoir.
Referring to the special report published in ‘Prajavani’ on December 8, 2023 under the title ‘Sale of BDA land to private individuals’, the Additional District Collector said, ‘There is an attempt to cover up the illegality behind the scenes. The petitioners have requested that the government land be saved, and action should be taken as per the rules and reported. The petitioners should also be informed about the action taken legally so far.’
