Appeal for Adoption of Street Dogs

As part of the welfare and humane management of community (street) dogs within the limits of the Bengaluru Central City Corporation, members of the public, organisations, Residents’ Welfare Associations (RWAs), and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) are requested to come forward to adopt street dogs.

All dogs offered for adoption will undergo health check-ups, be vaccinated, and be sterilized. Adoption of street dogs not only promotes animal welfare but also contributes to harmonious coexistence in the city and supports public health and safety.

*Interested individuals and organisations are encouraged to participate in the adoption of street dogs,* as informed by the Assistant Director, Department of Animal Husbandry, Bengaluru Central City Corporation.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ನಾಯಿಗಳ (ಬೀದಿ ನಾಯಿಗಳ) ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾನವೀಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು, ಸಂಘ-ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು, ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಕ್ಷೇಮಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಸಂಘಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಬೀದಿ ನಾಯಿಗಳ ದತ್ತಕಕ್ಕೆ (Adoption) ಮುಂದಾಗುವಂತೆ ಕೋರಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ದತ್ತಕಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವ ನಾಯಿಗಳ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ತಪಾಸಣೆಗೊಳಪಡಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು, ಲಸಿಕೆ ನೀಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂತಾನ ನಿರೋಧಕ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೊಳಪಡಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಬೀದಿ ನಾಯಿಗಳ ದತ್ತಕವು ಪ್ರಾಣಿಕಲ್ಯಾಣವನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಬಾಳ್ವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

*ಆಸಕ್ತ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಘ-ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು, ಬೀದಿ ನಾಯಿಗಳ ದತ್ತಕಕ್ಕೆ (Adoption) ಮುಂದಾಗುವಂತೆ*  ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆಯ ಪಶುಸಂಗೋಪನಾ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಸಹಾಯಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
