BENGALURU: The 'Nambike Nakshe- Nimma Mane Nakshe Nimma Mane Bagilige' scheme to get a building plan within 15 days without going to the BBMP office has been successful in two zones and will be implemented in all zones from September 2.

 Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Sivakumar launched it on March 11. It was practically implemented in Rajarajeshwari Nagar and Dasarahalli zones.

 A total of 302 applications were submitted during the trial period. In this 148 maps have been approved. In Rajarajeshwarinagar zone, 273 applications were submitted and 133 were approved, while in Dasarahalli, 15 out of 29 applications were approved for the plan.

 All the processes have been completed online and within 15 days there has been a good response to the building plan project. Our software initially faced some obstacles. The latter is functioning without any problem," said senior officials of BBMP Urban Planning Department.

 He said that since the 'Nambike Nakshe' has been successful in two zones, the Deputy Chief Minister has suggested that it be implemented in all zones, so from September 2, citizens will have to apply online for the house plan.

 Under the 'Nambike Nakshe' scheme, approval for automated plans for buildings measuring up to 50 feet x 80 feet will be available within 15 days. The plan is automatically granted within 15 days even if the authorities do not reject the application with reasons or review the application.

How to Process?:

 Architects or Engineers authorized by BBMP upload the document and building plan provided by the owner on BBMP website

 A check online by the Karnataka State Remote Sensing Application Center (KSRSAC) clarifies that the building does not fall in any buffer zone of lake, government areas. A report is prepared through Auto DCR, provisional plan and permission letter is issued.

 Then Revenue Officers, Urban Planning Officers will verify the documents and approve the plan. If there is any problem or mistake in the documents, legal action will be taken as per BBMP act. The 'Provisional plan' will be canceled and construction will be restricted.

 Details of Engineers/Architects authorized by BBMP to apply online for plan approval, conduct preliminary verification of documents under 'Nambike Nakshe' scheme has been published on the website. Citizens have to submit necessary documents through them. After sanctioning the plan, the fee has to be paid online. Later, the plan will be available," said officials of the BBMP urban planning department.
