Banasavadi lake encroachment: Notice to Tehsildar
Bengaluru: The Karnataka Land Grab Prohibition Special Court has registered the case of Banasavadi Lake encroachment on its own motion and has issued a notice to the Bangalore East Taluk Tehsildar.
A report was published in 'Prajavani' on June 30 under the title 'Banasavadi Lake again occupied'. This has been considered by the Court, Krishnarajapura Banasavadi Survey no. 211, 42 acres 38 gunte lake yard has been encroached for the third time. Buildings are constructed. Without indicating that a report should be given in this regard.

The government prosecutor said that the Tahsildar has been directed to submit a report to the special court by August 18, along with a detailed survey sketch of the encroaching persons and the encroachment area of each.
