Four Municipal Corporations, GBA invite design of administrative building
150 members allowed in City Corporation council

Bengaluru: It has been decided to design the council halls of the five municipal corporations formed under the jurisdiction of the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) to seat 150 members each.
The GBA has invited interested parties to design new buildings for the Bengaluru East Municipal Corporation (BECC), West Municipal Corporation (BWCC), North Municipal Corporation (BNCC), and South Municipal Corporation (BSCC). As per the tender invitation, it has been asked to construct a council hall that can seat 150 members.
There is a proposal to form 63 wards in BECC, 117 wards in BWCC, 90 wards in BNCC, and 90 wards in BSCC. The Ward Reorganization Commission is preparing a report on ward structures and is likely to submit a draft report on September 23. Meanwhile, single designs have been invited for the construction of the main administrative building of GBA and the administrative buildings of BECC, BWCC, BNCC, BSCC.
The Executive Engineer of Shantinagar Division has invited this tender and the last date for submission of designs by architects/architects is September 23.
It has been decided to make the council hall spacious to accommodate both elected members and nominated members of the municipal corporations. It is said that if the number of members increases due to the addition of additional areas to the municipal corporations in the future, there will also be an opportunity to increase the seating capacity in the new buildings.
It is being considered to provide annex buildings to the Bangalore Central Municipal Corporation (BCCC) in the existing GBA building to accommodate administrative offices and council meetings. Therefore, the BCCC has not been included in the new design proposal, officials said.

The Urban Development Department has ordered the formation of a Technical and Financial Review Committee for tenders for all works to be undertaken at the Greater Bengaluru Authority level.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ಗ್ರೇಟರ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ (ಜಿಬಿಎ) ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಚನೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ಐದು ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆಗಳ ಕೌನ್ಸಿಲ್ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ತಲಾ 150 ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಪೂರ್ವ ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ (ಬಿಇಸಿಸಿ), ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ (ಬಿಡಬ್ಲ್ಯುಸಿಸಿ), ಉತ್ತರ ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ (ಬಿಎನ್ಸಿಸಿ), ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ (ಬಿಎಸ್ಸಿಸಿ) ಹೊಸ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಆಸಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ಜಿಬಿಎಯಿಂದ ಆಹ್ವಾನ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಟೆಂಡರ್ ಆಹ್ವಾನದಂತೆ 150 ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಆಸೀನರಾಗುವಂತಹ ಕೌನ್ಸಿಲ್ ಸಭಾಂಗಣ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ಹೇಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಬಿಇಸಿಸಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 63 ವಾರ್ಡ್, ಬಿಡಬ್ಲ್ಯುಸಿಸಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 117 ವಾರ್ಡ್, ಬಿಎನ್ಸಿಸಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 90 ವಾರ್ಡ್, ಬಿಎಸ್ಸಿಸಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 90 ವಾರ್ಡ್ ರಚನೆಯಾಗುವ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವವಿದೆ. ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಪುನರ್ ವಿಂಗಡಣಾ ಆಯೋಗ ವಾರ್ಡ್ ರಚನೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವರದಿ ತಯಾರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಸೆ.23ಕ್ಕೆ ಕರಡು ವರದಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ. ಈ ಮಧ್ಯೆ, ಜಿಬಿಎಯ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಆಡಳಿತ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ಮತ್ತು ಬಿಇಸಿಸಿ, ಬಿಡಬ್ಲ್ಯುಸಿಸಿ, ಬಿಎನ್ಸಿಸಿ, ಬಿಎಸ್ಸಿಸಿಗಳ ಆಡಳಿತ ಕಟ್ಟಡವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ಏಕ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸಗಳನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಶಾಂತಿನಗರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ ಈ ಟೆಂಡರ್ ಅನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿದ್ದು, ವಾಸ್ತು ಶಿಲ್ಪಿಗಳು/ ಆರ್ಕಿಟೆಕ್ಟ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಸೆ.23ಕ್ಕೆ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ಅಂತಿಮ ದಿನವಾಗಿದೆ.
ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಚುನಾಯಿತ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ನಾಮನಿರ್ದೇಶಿತ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೂ ಅನುವಾಗಲು ಕೌನ್ಸಿಲ್ ಸಭಾಂಗಣವನ್ನು ವಿಶಾಲವಾಗಿ ರೂಪಿಸಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳು ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡು ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಅಧಿಕವಾದರೆ ಆಸನಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಅವಕಾಶವೂ ಹೊಸ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆಗೆ (ಬಿಸಿಸಿಸಿ) ಈಗಿರುವ ಜಿಬಿಎ ಕಟ್ಟಡದಲ್ಲೇ, ಆಡಳಿತಾತ್ಮಕ ಕಚೇರಿಗಳು, ಕೌನ್ಸಿಲ್ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡಲು ಅನೆಕ್ಸ್ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಆಲೋಚಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಹೊಸ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸದ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಸಿಸಿಸಿಯನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
