Bengaluru: GBA Chief Commissioner Maheshwar Rao instructed that electricity connections should not be provided to buildings constructed without PLAN approval.

He held a meeting with officials in the Eastern Municipal Corporation limits and instructed BESCOM officials to check whether the PLAN is approved before providing electricity connections. If not, do not provide connections.

He directed to expedite the work of shifting BESCOM electricity poles on Balagere Road.

The lower part of the flyover near Ibloor Junction has already been beautified. He instructed to develop the lower part of other flyovers in a similar manner using CSR funds.

The cases of encroachment on Rajakaluve in Mahadevapura limits should be examined and cleared immediately. He said that unauthorized buildings on Rajakaluve in Gunjur area should be cleared.

If 6 acres of forest land is given for the construction of a new road near SH 45 Varthur-Gunjur main road near New Horizon College, most of the traffic congestion in this area will be eliminated. In this regard, he instructed to take action to acquire the forest land and construct the road.

Eastern Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ramesh D.S, Additional Commissioner Lokhande Snehal Sudhakar, Joint Commissioners Dakshayini K, Sudha, Chief Engineers Lokesh and Krishnamurthy were present.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ನಕ್ಷೆ ಮಂಜೂರಾತಿ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿರುವ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್‌ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ನೀಡಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ಜಿಬಿಎ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಆಯುಕ್ತ ಮಹೇಶ್ವರ್‌ ರಾವ್ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದರು.

ಪೂರ್ವ ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಅವರು, ವಿದ್ಯುತ್‌ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ನೀಡುವ ಮೊದಲು ನಕ್ಷೆ ಮಂಜೂರಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಬೇಕು. ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ, ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ನೀಡಬಾರದು’ ಎಂದು ಬೆಸ್ಕಾಂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಾಕೀತು ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಬಳಗೆರೆ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಸ್ಕಾಂ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಕಂಬಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಳಾಂತರಿಸುವ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ವೇಗಗೊಳಿಸಲು ನಿರ್ದೇಶನ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಇಬ್ಲೂರು ಜಂಕ್ಷನ್ ಬಳಿ ಮೇಲ್ಸೇತುವೆ ಕೆಳಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಸುಂದರೀಕರಣ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದೇ ಮಾದರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇತರೆ ಮೇಲ್ಸೇತುವೆಗಳ ಕೆಳಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿ.ಎಸ್.ಆರ್ ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸಲು ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು‌.

ಮಹದೇವಪುರ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ರಾಜಕಾಲುವೆ ಒತ್ತುವರಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ತೆರವುಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು. ಗುಂಜೂರು ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜಕಾಲುವೆ ಮೇಲಿನ ಅನಧಿಕೃತ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರವುಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ನ್ಯೂ ಹಾರಿಜನ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಬಳಿಯ ಎಸ್.ಎಚ್ 45 ವರ್ತೂರು-ಗುಂಜೂರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಬಳಿ, ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ರಸ್ತೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಲು 6 ಎಕರೆ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಜಾಗ ನೀಡಿದರೆ, ಈ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹುತೇಕ ಸಂಚಾರ ದಟ್ಟಣೆ ನಿವಾರಣೆಯಾಲಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಜಾಗ ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ರಸ್ತೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕ್ರಮವಹಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಪೂರ್ವ ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ಆಯುಕ್ತ ರಮೇಶ್ ಡಿ.ಎಸ್, ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಆಯುಕ್ತ ಲೋಖಂಡೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಲ್ ಸುಧಾಕರ್, ಜಂಟಿ ಆಯುಕ್ತರಾದ ದಾಕ್ಷಾಯಿಣಿ ಕೆ, ಸುಧಾ, ಮುಖ್ಯ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರ್‌ಗಳಾದ  ಲೋಕೇಶ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೃಷ್ಣಮೂರ್ತಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
